No matter what medicines you take, or store at home just in case, make sure they are kept in proper places. Here are some common tips:

  • Don’t store your pills in the bathroom. High humidity and temperature changes destroy them. It is better to keep your medicines in a cool, dry place away from lights. Try to put them in your bedroom inside a dresser drawer, or in a kitchen cabinet.
  • Some drugs should be stored in a fridge, but not all of them. Read the labels!
  • Keep all the drugs, and even vitamins out of reach of children in a locked cabinet.
  • Never keep your medicines after the expiration date.
